Mr. Narendra Tiwari is a distinguished maritime professional and philanthropist based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He is the founder of Little Hopes Charitable Trust, an organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged children through education, healthcare, and vocational training. Under his leadership, the Trust has made significant strides in improving the lives of marginalized communities.
Maritime Career
Mr. Tiwari's maritime journey began as a cadet in the Merchant Navy, where he rose through the ranks to become a Captain. His extensive experience at sea provided him with a profound understanding of the maritime industry. He is an active member of the Company of Master Mariners of India (CMMI), a professional body representing over 3,500 maritime professionals across the country. CMMI plays a pivotal role in promoting the development of marine professionals and representing India at the International Maritime Organization (IMO)
Media and NGO Engagement
Beyond his maritime career, Mr. Tiwari has been actively involved in the media and non-governmental sectors in Maharashtra. He has collaborated with various press clubs and NGOs to raise awareness about social issues and advocate for the rights of marginalized communities. Mr. Tiwari also serves as the Editor, Maharashtra of News Now India, a platform that provides timely and relevant news coverage.
